https://www.researchgate.net/post/I_have_an_issue_in_ABAQUS_What_is_the_difference_between_Origcoords_Defcoords   Orig.coords: is related to node coordinates in global system before you run the model. it is without any deformation.  Def.coords: is the nodes coordinates after analysing. it is related to coordinates of nodes after deformation.although you can compute the maximum node displacement by subtracting Orig.coords from Def.coords.
